    Increase water flow.

    How does Optifill work?

  • Answer:
    The Oprifill unit is powered by water. The chemistry is automatically mixed and dispensed based on the water flow.

    What is the required operating flow rate?

  • Answer:
    The flow rate is 4-8 gallons (15-30 lpm) per minute.

    What is the required operating faucet drop height?

    Is the whole unit recyclable?

    Bottle is made of 25% PCR (Post Consumer Recycled ) material. Can be recycled through conventional recycling or recover facilities.*.

    Why does my sanitizer (quat) read too high?

  • Answer:
    When the temperature of the sample is between 65°F- 75°F (15-25° C) and there is no foam on the surface of the sample, the sample can be tested. If the sample is too hot, it will give a false high concentration reading. Check to be sure test paper has not expired. Hold the test paper motionless in the sanitizing solution sample. Do not move the paper around as this will give a false high concentration reading.

    Do you need to prime unit?

    Prime unit for 30 seconds on first use by running water through system prior to plugging drain.

    Can I remove the head of the bottle and add to another bottle to detergent or sanitizer?

  • Answer:

    Once the chemical has been completely emptied from bottle, the whole unit should be disposed of and replaced by a new unit. The head of bottle is not meant to be removed.

    What is the recommended max water temp?

    All our dispensers have a top range of 122ºF (50ºC)

    Is the unit battery operated?

    No

    What if faucet screens are removed?

    Need to use with condensed screen. An adapter is available, part #5011930.

    How many sinks does a bottle fill?

  • Answer:
    Optifill produces 1650 gallons of end-use solution. If the sink is filled to 12 gallons, then the bottle will fill 137 sinks. If the sink is filled to 15 gallons, then the bottle will fill 110 sinks.
